A Final Studio Update

Before I get to my update, just a few words on the Great Art Supply Sale I had in June. It was amazingly successful, I sold almost everything which was amazing.

Do I have regrets?

Not really - I’m happy it is gone to artists who will use it to make more amazing art in their own studios. However, I have had a few occasions that I have seen something on social media and thought I’d like to try that and realize I sold those supplies - lol. But I also realize that the few supplies have left can be used for a multitude of techniques- it’s a good lesson in finding joy and creativity with limited supplies.

So thank you to those who made the journey to attend and purchase supplies. I hope they are sparking new and exciting art in your studios.

All That Remains

Now to the Update…..

10 years ago, I decided to create a website for my art business and now here we are 10 years later, and the decision to retire from creating, teaching and sharing my art with so many is changing. donnahansonartworks.com

will officially be shutting down as of August 15, 2026.

BUT…..

Just because my website is closing it doesn’t mean that the artwork that I still have available will cease to be for sale. I will just choose other ways of sharing what I have available with you be it through social media or displaying out in the wild somewhere.

This decision to close my website and retire from my art business hasn’t been easy, but as I close this season of life, I am looking back with gratitude.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who visited my website, purchased a piece of art, or shared lovely words. I want to also thank those who have taken a class or followed me on social media. Your support has meant more than I could ever express.

Over the past many years, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with so many wonderful people, and the memories, conversations, and experiences will stay with me forever.

Thank you for being part of this remarkable journey. You have made it truly special.
