Prairie Pond

Sloughs surrounded by trees and grasses dot the prairie farmland. Sometimes they are deep, sometimes shallow and they often give cooling respite to all manner of prairie inhabitants. 
Size: 12” Tondo Cradled Birch Panel – sides are painted black and waxed to finish. Wired for hanging or can lean on a shelf. Currently at Naess Gallery at The Paint Spot until December 31, 2023.
Medium: Encaustic - Beeswax, Damar, Pigment, Oil Stick.
