Named for the fairies who inhabit the garden, this encaustic begins with an eco print of leaves steamed onto paper.  The prints are enhanced with encaustic medium and strips of colored wax to allow the leaves to take centre stage.  Size: 4” x  6”  on Cradled Birch Panel – 2.5” sides are waxed natural color. Wired for hanging but looks best set on a shelf.  Medium: Encaustic - Beeswax, Damar, Pigment, Oil Stick, Eco Printed Papers
